*Price valid for the Total Blue EC 0.1 version in W.170 x D.240 cm in wool and hardtwist.
Marco Lavit designs the hand-tufted carpet Eclipse for Carpet Edition, taking inspiration from the well-known atmospheric phenomenon where one celestial body is obscured by another. The different lengths of the New Zealand wool and Hard Twist Pile fleece combined with the different processes and the reflection of natural light create a suggestive monochromatic pattern in shades of blue, ice or black and white. Available in three standard sizes, Eclipse can also be produced with measurements requested by the customer and customized in colour. This very high quality carpet fits easily into multiple contexts of private residences but can also be used for contract or hotel projects thanks to its versatility.

Designed by
Marco Lavit
Marco Lavit (1986-) is an Italian architect and designer based in Paris, recognizable for the refined minimalism of his creations. In his architecture and interior design projects he prefers the use of natural materials such as wood, often interpreted in thin strips that give an oriental and ecological look to the environments he designs. Particularly interesting is his research on prefabricated structures, also developed in projects such as the eco-lodge Origin, a real tree house that is perfectly habitable. Having settled in France to study at the École Spéciale d’Architecture (ESA) in Paris, Lavit completed his apprenticeship at Riccardo Blumer’s studio and founded his own studio atelier LAVIT in 2014. The project that launched his international career dates back to the same year: the Venezia armchair, with extreme formal purity in its lines slowly inspired by gondolas, conceived for the Architecture Biennale and now produced exclusively by the Nilufar gallery in Milan. In addition to the numerous limited editions designed for Nilufar, Marco Lavit can boast an intense collaboration with the Living Divani brand for which he created creations such as the iconic Lemni armchair. He has also collaborated with brands such as MDF Italia, Carpet Edition, Ethimo, Lelievre and many others.Read more
