Boffi
Tevere Bathtub
The Tiber basin by Boffi, designed by the designer Claudio Silvestrin, is characterized by its unusual circular shape. Huge and scenographic, Tiber has a diameter of 190 cm, thus proposing itself as the protagonist of spacious and luxurious bathroom environments and being able to easily accommodate more people at the same time. The opulence it recalls contrasts with the austere serenity of its forms, based on the balance of a perfect circle emphasized by the strong thickness of the perimeter edges that culminate in a surface thick enough to also allow objects to be placed on it. from a single block of Corian, a resistant and easy to clean material. Technical details: completed with stainless steel drain, siphon and overflow
Ø 190 x H.55 cm

The Boffi kitchens evoke, more than any other brand, the concept of "design kitchen". A unique brand, which throughout its history has given a decisive impulse in the evolution of the kitchen environment up to the modern modular kitchens. Among the big names of Made in Italy kitchens, Boffi's is undoubtedly the one most closely linked to luxury kitchens, proving itself capable of creating real marvels of technique and aesthetics and thus creating unique environments enhanced by the use of exclusive materials. However the Boffi world does not end in the kitchen: the collections of bathrooms and wardrobes are equally famous, while for the living area its collections integrate harmoniously with those of De Padova, a brand belonging to the same group.Read more
Designed by
Claudio Silvestrin
Claudio Silvestrin (1954-) is a highly regarded Italian architect and designer active in London. His rigorously minimalist style is capable of creating a solemn and majestic serenity in environments with sparse neutral colors and essential lines. His stylistic path follows that of AG Fronzoni, under whom he completed his studies in Milan, and of John Pawson, in whose studio he worked from 1986 to 1988, both considered two great masters of architecture minimalist. These experiences were followed in 1989 by the opening of his studio CSA - Claudio Silvestrin Architects, which in 2006 also opened a second office in Milan. His architecture lends itself both to the creation of commercial spaces intended for high-end luxury (particularly relevant in this sense is his collaboration with Giorgi Armani, for whom he designed numerous showrooms throughout the world) and to the museum sector (such as the Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Foundation, 2002, considered one of his masterpieces). In the residential sector, however, we especially remember the loft designed in Manhattan for Kanye West in 2007. Clean lines and dry colors also characterize his production as a designer, developed through collaborations with brands such as Boffi, Poltrona Frau, Cappellini, Glas Italia, Minotti Cucine, Ceramica Cielo, Bottega Ghianda and others.
