Vincent Van Duysen designs for B&B Italia a collection of outdoor furniture in teak, an ideal material for the outdoors thanks to its weather resistance characteristics. The Pablo armchair, available in two different depths, represents a perfect balance between research style and functionality: the wooden structure and the fabric backrest easily removable are stylistic choices but also technical solutions to facilitate maintenance. The decisive lines and innovative proportions of the Pablo Outdoor armchair, enriched by cushions a free arrangement, allow you to furnish the outdoor space with a typically minimal taste.

B&B Italia's strongest ability is to combine creative ideas with design skills, which over the years have led the company to win four Golden Compasses. B&B Italia’s fulcrum is the Research and Development Centre (CR&S), a research laboratory dedicated to the study of the most innovative materials and the industrialization of production processes. The purpose of CR&S is to give life to the most groundbreaking projects of some of the major international designers.
Founded in the late 60's by Piero Ambrogio Busnelli and Cesare Cassina with the name of C&B Italia, the company has disrupted the furnishing industry's rules with a revolutionary industry vision. Vincent Van Duysen
Vincent Van Duysen (1962-), Belgian architect and designer, is one of the most prominent figures in the contemporary design sector. His mark, measured and elegant, reveals a profound awareness of space and its articulations: each product he designs is not in fact conceived as a unicum in its own right, but as part of a harmonious whole. Minimalist without being icy, Van Duysen knows how to create highly suggestive environments, in which no element is too much. After working in Milan in his youth with the stylist Cinzia Ruggeri and with the designer Aldo Cibic, he founded his studio in Antwerp in 1990 and developed it to build a team of over 20 people. He has been the art director of Molteni & C. since 2016, a brand for which he takes care of the entire coordinated image, from products to fittings. Other brands he has collaborated with are Poliform, Flos, B&B Italia, Paola Lenti, Sahco and Serax.Read more
