With High Backrest
The iconic Fat-Sofa seating line is enriched with a new outdoor line, giving life to new and elegant proposals for the outdoors in the name of quality and beauty. In this outdoor version, Fat-Sofa is characterized by an unprecedented weaving proposal aimed at enhancing the wide backrest thanks to a graphic effect and macro dimensions, made with twisted polyethylene fibers. The fully padded seat is characterized by softness and solidity, as well as resistance to atmospheric agents and wear and tear over time. The Fat-Sofa collection consists of different proposals, of which we mention the armchair with a two-height backrest, the linear sofa and a large relaxation island complete with various poufs.* Technical features: the structure is available only in gray painted aluminum and the weave is in dove gray polyethylene fiber

B&B Italia's strongest ability is to combine creative ideas with design skills, which over the years have led the company to win four Golden Compasses. B&B Italia’s fulcrum is the Research and Development Centre (CR&S), a research laboratory dedicated to the study of the most innovative materials and the industrialization of production processes. The purpose of CR&S is to give life to the most groundbreaking projects of some of the major international designers.
Founded in the late 60's by Piero Ambrogio Busnelli and Cesare Cassina with the name of C&B Italia, the company has disrupted the furnishing industry's rules with a revolutionary industry vision. Patricia Urquiola (1961-), Spanish by birth but now Milanese by adoption, is one of the most important names in the panorama of contemporary design. She was able to count on an impressive parterre of great masters: graduated from the Milan Polytechnic with Achille Castiglioni as a teacher, she then collaborated for a few years with Vico Magistretti on the set-up of the De Padova showroom, before becoming Head of Design for the studio in 1996. Piero Lissoni. Since the early 2000s she begins to make herself known for her colorful and exuberant style, which will find maximum expression in the collaboration with the Moroso company. Other brands that have strongly focused on her have been B&B Italia, with which she will also shape the aesthetics of her new outdoor collection, B&B Italia Outdoor, and Cassina, for which she is artistic director. Very appreciated and author of highly successful products, she has collaborations with other big brands such as Kettal, Flos, Molteni & C., Kartell, Foscarini, cc-tapis, Paola Lenti, Mutina, Glas Italia and many others.Read more
