Do-Maru Armchair
Price starting from € 2.883,00*
*Price valid for the version with upholstery in fabric cat. B - supporting frame and outer shell in varnished finishing (cod. DM77).
An exceptional design characterizes the Do-Maru armchair, studied in every detail to express the suggestion of superimposed volumes and pure lines. This seat owes its name to the ancient samurai armor, built with rigid plates of painted and decorated leather that wrapped the body of the warriors. In the same way Do Maru takes up this tradition by combining a pair of overlapping shells, softened by two counter-paddings that can be covered in fabric or leather. The elegant rear support is made of cast aluminum, modeled with rigorous attention and craftsmanship. The front metal tubular is instead thinner, perfect for lightening the entire structure without however making it lose its formal connotation.

B&B Italia's strongest ability is to combine creative ideas with design skills, which over the years have led the company to win four Golden Compasses. B&B Italia’s fulcrum is the Research and Development Centre (CR&S), a research laboratory dedicated to the study of the most innovative materials and the industrialization of production processes. The purpose of CR&S is to give life to the most groundbreaking projects of some of the major international designers.
Founded in the late 60's by Piero Ambrogio Busnelli and Cesare Cassina with the name of C&B Italia, the company has disrupted the furnishing industry's rules with a revolutionary industry vision. The ability to turn traditional furnishings production into industrial designs proves today, like yesterday, the strength of the company.Read more

Doshi Levien
Doshi Levien is a London studio founded in 2000 by the Indian Nipa Doshi (1971-) and the Scottish Jonathan Levien (1972-), who met in the 1990s while studying at the Royal College of Art before doing an apprenticeship in two different studies, that of Ross Lovegrove for Jonathan Levien and that of David Chipperfield for Nipa Doshi. The Doshi Levien studio is mainly dedicated to product design and is the interpreter of a charming and refined aesthetic based on large and welcoming shapes and pleasant pastel shades, in which the distant cultural heritages that characterize the path of the two founders are mixed in an unprecedented way. He has created projects for various well-known design brands such as B&B Italia, Moroso, Kettal, Arper, Hay, Cappellini, BD Barcelona Design and Nanimarquinia.
