B&B Italia
Cordoba Armchair
Designed by Foster+Partners, Industrial Design Studio, Cordoba is an armchair with simple and well-defined lines that combines design accuracy with environmental responsibility. Large and welcoming, it has an oak wood structure that seems to wink at the spirit of Nordic and Oriental design thanks to a combination of materials and lines of extreme aesthetic value. The beauty of Cordoba also consists in the variety of finishes and colors made available by B&B Italia to better adapt to the environments of the home and beyond, also to contract contexts or more. Versatility is in this sense one of the strong points of this seat, created to adapt everywhere without ever clashing or seeming out of place.

B&B Italia's strongest ability is to combine creative ideas with design skills, which over the years have led the company to win four Golden Compasses. B&B Italia’s fulcrum is the Research and Development Centre (CR&S), a research laboratory dedicated to the study of the most innovative materials and the industrialization of production processes. The purpose of CR&S is to give life to the most groundbreaking projects of some of the major international designers.
Founded in the late 60's by Piero Ambrogio Busnelli and Cesare Cassina with the name of C&B Italia, the company has disrupted the furnishing industry's rules with a revolutionary industry vision. The ability to turn traditional furnishings production into industrial designs proves today, like yesterday, the strength of the company.Read more

Norman Foster + Partners
Sir Norman Foster (1935-) is one of the greatest star architects of our time. A great master of the High Tech style, his projects place great emphasis on the technological aspects, emphasizing to the maximum the role of the structural elements instead of hiding them, and enhancing them in their unexpected elegance. A lover of futuristic-looking materials such as glass and steel, Foster was also a precursor of environmental awareness, paying particular attention to the eco-sustainability of his projects. A graduate of his hometown of Manchester, he completed his studies at the prestigious Yale University before founding Team 4 with Richard Rogers and their two future wives, Su Brumwell and Wendy Cheesman. After the farewell of Rogers, who moved to work in partnership with the Italian Renzo Piano, Norman founded the Foster & Associates studio (now called Foster + Partners), which grew to become a real multinational of architecture, with over 600 designers at your service, consistently listed in the top ten of the largest studios in the world. Specialized in large, far-reaching and highly spectacular global projects, such as the HSBC headquarters in Hong Kong, the Rechstag in Berlin and the Apple Park in Cupertino, Foster also obtained the coveted Pritzker Prize in 1999, the highest world recognition for an architect. The studio is also active in the product design sector, with particular attention to projects in the contract and office world. In addition to profitable and lasting partnerships with Molteni & C. and Tecno, it can also boast collaborations with brands such as Artemide, Vitra, Steelcase, Walter Knoll, Nemo and many others.Read more
