The Borea collection of outdoor furniture, designed by Piero Lissoni for B&B Italia, is enriched with new proposals for the poolside and the use of outdoor spaces. The sun lounger equipped with wheels and the oval sunbed, in the chaise longue or sofa version, are united by a light curved tubular aluminum structure, treated with weather resistant paint. The comfort is guaranteed by the large reclining backrests and by the mattresses in recycled material, covered with a wide selection of outdoor fabrics, exclusive to B&B Italia. The optional cushions allow to increase the relaxation of these seats with multiple uses, ideal in parks or by the swimming pool of private homes, hotels and exclusive resorts.

B&B Italia’s fulcrum is the Research and Development Centre (CR&S), a research laboratory dedicated to the study of the most innovative materials and the industrialization of production processes. Founded in the late 60's by Piero Ambrogio Busnelli and Cesare Cassina with the name of C&B Italia, the company has disrupted the furnishing industry's rules with a revolutionary industry vision. Piero Lissoni
Piero Lissoni (1956-) is one of the most appreciated contemporary Italian designers. In addition to his furnishings, with a rigorous and elegant minimalism, he combines the ability to build and communicate the identity of the brands he collaborates with at 360 °, creating a truly unmistakable "Lissoni style". Versatile and intelligent, he left an indelible mark on some of the most important Italian brands, starting with his first collaborations with Living Divani and Boffi, companies of which he still remains the main signature. In addition to these, he is also the artistic director of the brands De Padova, Lema, Porro, Lualdi and of the luxury yachts Sanlorenzo. He has designed products for almost all the great brands of Italian design, from B&B Italia to Cassina, from Flos to Kartell, from Glas Italia to Cappellini. Over the years, his studio has also proved to be a great forge of talents: it is there that great names in design such as Patricia Urquiola, David Lopez Quincoces, Felicia Ferrone and many others took their first steps in the future.Read more
