A welcoming seat that winks at sustainability and a foot with an unexpected design that softens the minimalism of the structure, with a fluid and continuous line, in tubular aluminum. The Borea outdoor sofa, proposed with two or three seats, was born from the creativity of the designer Piero Lissoni who develops a complete and functional outdoor furniture system for B&B Italia. The coverings, offered in numerous colors and finishes, are an integral part of the project envisaging also the customization of the profiles that define the seats from a tailor-made perspective. The couch Borea furnishes with elegance and functionality terraces, patios and gardens but also the dehors of hotels and resorts according to an interpretation of the outdoors in the name of design.

B&B Italia's strongest ability is to combine creative ideas with design skills, which over the years have led the company to win four Golden Compasses. B&B Italia’s fulcrum is the Research and Development Centre (CR&S), a research laboratory dedicated to the study of the most innovative materials and the industrialization of production processes. The purpose of CR&S is to give life to the most groundbreaking projects of some of the major international designers.
Founded in the late 60's by Piero Ambrogio Busnelli and Cesare Cassina with the name of C&B Italia, the company has disrupted the furnishing industry's rules with a revolutionary industry vision. Piero Lissoni
Piero Lissoni (1956-) is one of the most appreciated contemporary Italian designers. In addition to his furnishings, with a rigorous and elegant minimalism, he combines the ability to build and communicate the identity of the brands he collaborates with at 360 °, creating a truly unmistakable "Lissoni style". Versatile and intelligent, he left an indelible mark on some of the most important Italian brands, starting with his first collaborations with Living Divani and Boffi, companies of which he still remains the main signature. In addition to these, he is also the artistic director of the brands De Padova, Lema, Porro, Lualdi and of the luxury yachts Sanlorenzo. He has designed products for almost all the great brands of Italian design, from B&B Italia to Cassina, from Flos to Kartell, from Glas Italia to Cappellini. Over the years, his studio has also proved to be a great forge of talents: it is there that great names in design such as Patricia Urquiola, David Lopez Quincoces, Felicia Ferrone and many others took their first steps in the future.Read more
