Simple and captivating, Bamboletto is a bed born from the creative inspiration of Mario Bellini and designed with B&B Italia. The aesthetics arise from the Le Bambole collection and come to life from an original project from 1972. The generous shapes and broad aesthetics are outlined thanks to the voluminous padding which takes up the design of the iconic seating collection, one of the most significant expressions of Made in contemporary Italy. The beauty of Bamboletto can be found in the numerous finishes available as well as in the catalog colors chosen by the company to best enhance the shapes and highlight the craftsmanship used in finishing every detail. Thanks to its physiognomy, this bed adapts well to different contexts, always enhancing the proportions of the spaces and the characterization of the shapes.

B&B Italia's strongest ability is to combine creative ideas with design skills, which over the years have led the company to win four Golden Compasses. B&B Italia’s fulcrum is the Research and Development Centre (CR&S), a research laboratory dedicated to the study of the most innovative materials and the industrialization of production processes. The purpose of CR&S is to give life to the most groundbreaking projects of some of the major international designers.
Founded in the late 60's by Piero Ambrogio Busnelli and Cesare Cassina with the name of C&B Italia, the company has disrupted the furnishing industry's rules with a revolutionary industry vision. Mario Bellini
Mario Bellini (1935-) has always remained strongly linked to his training as an architect, managing to bring his characteristic principles into all the very different areas in which he had the opportunity to design. After starting his career as design director at the Rinascente, in 1963 he was called to Olivetti where he became the protagonist of an extraordinary season of technological innovations. In addition to numerous computers and electronic equipment, he also has the opportunity to design the first personal computer in history, the Olivetti P101. Since 1978 he has also had the opportunity to work in the automotive sector, becoming a consultant for Renault. In the field of furniture, too, he holds leading roles, signing some of the most relevant products of the 1970s and subsequent decades for Cassina and B&B Italia. He was director of Domus magazine, president of ADI and eight times winner of the Compasso d'Oro. He has also worked with companies such as Yamaha, Heller, Nemo and Rosenthal. Since the 1980s he has mainly devoted himself to architecture, with projects such as the Natuzzi headquarters in North Carolina, the interiors of the Deutsche Bank headquarters in Frankfurt, the Tokyo Design Center and the Milan Congress Center in the Portello district.Read more
