A bed of great elegance, capable of combining a strong material such as leather with gentle and well-modulated lines desired by Gabriele and Oscar Buratti. The focal point of Alys lies precisely in the leather headboard whose "pinched" edges are reminiscent of a large sheet stretched beyond the generous bulk of this piece of furniture. From the study of the Doyl chair, the designers draw the experience for this product dedicated to the cozy and comfortable sleeping area, enriched by the craftsmanship that has always distinguished the work of B&B Italia. The headboard is accompanied by particularly reduced perimeter bands in thickness, marked by a seam of great effect. The bed surface can be suspended from the ground at different heights, although it remains deliberately low to suggest a suspension and floating effect.

Gabriele (1962-) and Oscar Buratti (1967-), architects and interior designers, are the founders of the Buratti Architetti studio. In the architectural field they can count a great variety of projects (in which the engineer Ivano Battiston partner of the firm collaborated until 2010), from residential villas to the retail sector, a field in which they have created the showrooms of many prestigious brands such as La Perla, Lamborghini, BMW and Husqvarna. Their activity in product design is also very wide and varied, with creations of great cleanliness and elegance that have become part of the catalogs of some of the most important brands in the sector such as Gallotti&Radice, Porada, B&B Italia, Acerbis, Porro, Lema, Living Divani, Driade, Paola Lenti, Alias, FontanaArte and many others. Gabriele Buratti can also boast an important academic career, having taught interior design for many years at the Politecnico of Milan.Read more
