Baxter
Loom Table
A creation with a sculptural and imaginative essence, capable of captivating with its presence in multiple intertwined dimensions, which combine different materials and compositions into a single, highly effective whole. The design was created by Hannes Peer, who conceived the union of glass and metal, respectively used to create the top and the base of the piece. The overlapping of the two is harmonious, however extremely contrasting, a deliberate choice that enhances the architectural texture of the base and the translucent lightness of the upper surface. The glass is made using a glass fusion technique. Overall, Loom is a perfect table for living rooms and meeting rooms where a unique element with a strong aesthetic impact is sought.

Symbol of Italian excellence, Baxter was born in 1990 in the heart of the Brianza furniture-manufacturing district. The family-run company developed its potential in Lurago d'Erba, where the ancient artisan tradition meets the highly specialized local crafts. The Brand maintained a focus on the quality of the materials used, searching for absolute excellence in order to propose design products with a strong emotional impact for aesthetics, shape and function. The absolute protagonist of Baxter's production is saddle leather, symbol of high quality leather, coming from the historic tannery of Toscana and Veneto.Read more
Designed by
Hannes Peer
Hannes Peer (1976-) is a renowned Italian designer and architect originally from South Tyrol. Trained at the Polytechnic University of Milan, he then worked for a few years in Rotterdam at the studio of star architect Rem Koolhaas before returning to Milan to open his own studio in 2009. In the 2010s he began to make a name for himself and gain increasing fame for his distinctive interior design projects in which he demonstrated an uncommon ability to combine traditional elements with more innovative solutions: often infused with a nostalgic touch, Hannes Peer's projects draw heavily from the imagery of the 60s and 70s. His characteristic "revival style" is also reflected in the furniture he designs, initially all custom projects designed specifically for each client or unique pieces proposed by renowned galleries such as the Milanese Nilufar. The approach to design for large series instead arrives in more recent times with the great success of tables and consoles of the Butterfly series designed for Sem – Spotti Edizioni Milano and a fine series of marble tables produced by the Parisian brand La Chance. The definitive consecration as a product designer finally arrives in 2024, when two major brands protagonists of the market such as Minotti and Baxter choose him to present their new flagship collections.Read more
