Dolly Baby is an armchair by Baxter, created thanks to the artistic guidance of Doriana & Massimiliano Fuksas who were able to give it a unique style, ideal for those who want to furnish their home with taste. The range of colors available for this chair is second only to the finishes that Baxter has allowed it to adopt so as to make it absolutely versatile and multipurpose. The materials for the feet are also interesting and vary from brushed burnished metal to satin brass without neglecting the satin nickel-plated metal for an elegant and sophisticated effect.

Symbol of Italian excellence, Baxter was born in 1990 in the heart of the Brianza furniture-manufacturing district. The family-run company developed its potential in Lurago d'Erba, where the ancient artisan tradition meets the highly specialized local crafts. The Brand maintained a focus on the quality of the materials used, searching for absolute excellence in order to propose design products with a strong emotional impact for aesthetics, shape and function. The absolute protagonist of Baxter's production is saddle leather, symbol of high quality leather, coming from the historic tannery of Toscana and Veneto.Read more

Massimiliano e Doriana Fuksas
Massimiliano Fuksas (1944-) is one of the few great contemporary Italian archistars. Born and raised in Rome, the son of a Lithuanian doctor, Fuksas was a pupil of the famous architect Bruno Zevi and from a young age he had the opportunity to gain experience in large international firms, such as the London-based Archigram or the Danish studio of Jørn Utzon. Even if his first projects are realized in his hometown and are part of the avant-garde, Fuksas obtains a great notoriety all over the world only with some important public orders obtained abroad, especially in France, where since 1989 he has opened a studio with his wife Doriana Mandrelli (1955-). A pioneer in the use of digital technology in architecture, the new technological tools allow him to design and manage complex volumes, giving life to buildings with great sculptural values such as the La Nuvola congress center in the Roman EUR district, the Vienna Twin Tower complex or the new Milan Fair in Rho, home to the Salone del Mobile every year. His creations as a designer are always co-signed with Doriana, who personally manages the design department of the studio, and take shape from collaborations with well-known brands such as Baxter, Alessi, Poltrona Frau, Fiam Italia, Venini, Slamp or Nemo.Read more
