A lamp created to offer the readers a discreet and extremely effective solution. Ixa Reading Floor is a lamp capable of combining elegance and simplicity with an extremely functional but above all captivating design, the result of solid design know-how. The collection is characterized by the spherical head with 360° freedom of movement connected to the structure via a magnet which allows it to rotate freely to diffuse the light in any direction. In its floor version, it can be placed freely next to sofas and armchairs, but acts perfectly as a complement to desks and office contexts. Also interesting in living spaces where it offers a discreet light that does not disturb but completes the bright furnishings.

Artemide is one of the most prestigious names of the Italian design: the company has in fact left an indelible impact on the lighting sector. Artemide lamps are often courageous and experimental, but also incredibly practical. The philosophy of Artemide follows the principle of the "Human Light", according to which every lighting project must focus on the human being and his needs. Another peculiarity of the brand is the incessant tendency to innovation, so much that over 60 people are employed in its own Research & Development center.Read more
Designed by
Norman Foster + Partners
Sir Norman Foster (1935-) is one of the greatest star architects of our time. A great master of the High Tech style, his projects place great emphasis on the technological aspects, emphasizing to the maximum the role of the structural elements instead of hiding them, and enhancing them in their unexpected elegance. A lover of futuristic-looking materials such as glass and steel, Foster was also a precursor of environmental awareness, paying particular attention to the eco-sustainability of his projects. A graduate of his hometown of Manchester, he completed his studies at the prestigious Yale University before founding Team 4 with Richard Rogers and their two future wives, Su Brumwell and Wendy Cheesman. After the farewell of Rogers, who moved to work in partnership with the Italian Renzo Piano, Norman founded the Foster & Associates studio (now called Foster + Partners), which grew to become a real multinational of architecture, with over 600 designers at your service, consistently listed in the top ten of the largest studios in the world. Specialized in large, far-reaching and highly spectacular global projects, such as the HSBC headquarters in Hong Kong, the Rechstag in Berlin and the Apple Park in Cupertino, Foster also obtained the coveted Pritzker Prize in 1999, the highest world recognition for an architect. The studio is also active in the product design sector, with particular attention to projects in the contract and office world. In addition to profitable and lasting partnerships with Molteni & C. and Tecno, it can also boast collaborations with brands such as Artemide, Vitra, Steelcase, Walter Knoll, Nemo and many others.Read more
