*Price valid for the version Chlorophilia classic in transparent methacrylate - Led 3000K included (cod. 1628010APP).
Visionary designer Ross Lovegrove has designed a suspension lamp for Artemide, innovative with a strong visual impact. Chlorophilia is formed by a chromed metal body, which also assumes the function of a heat sink, and of light elements, made of PMMA transparent, reminiscent of the shape of the leaves. The lighting source used is a Led of last generation. The suspended central body emits an indirect light that hits the three surfaces arranged in a radial pattern and superimposed, thus creating suggestive plays of light and shadow on the ceiling, while ensuring adequate ambient lighting.

Artemide is one of the most prestigious names of the Italian design: the company has in fact left an indelible impact on the lighting sector. Artemide lamps are often courageous and experimental, but also incredibly practical. The philosophy of Artemide follows the principle of the "Human Light", according to which every lighting project must focus on the human being and his needs. Another peculiarity of the brand is the incessant tendency to innovation, so much that over 60 people are employed in its own Research & Development center.Read more
Designed by
Ross Lovegrove
Ross Lovegrove (1958-) is one of the key figures in contemporary British design. His visionary creations are always played on fluid organic forms, inspired by nature but enriched by an alienating touch that gives them an almost science-fiction look, which makes them appear like fascinating artifacts, children of alien civilizations. With a strong ecological sensitivity, Lovegrove is also very attentive to the research of his materials: his projects are futuristic not only in form, but also in technology, prefiguring an entirely eco-sustainable world. Born in Wales, in the 1980s he accumulated extensive experience abroad working first in the German studio Frogdesign (specialized in technology, with creations such as the first Macintosh for Apple) and later in the French office of Knoll. Returning to his homeland at the end of the decade, he opened a studio in London that was immediately very popular and works not only for the major furniture brands (such as Moroso, Vondom, Gufram, Cappellini, Natuzzi Italia, BD Barcelona Design, Driade and many others) and lighting (such as Luceplan or Artemide), but extends its approach to design also to everyday objects or to packaging of great spectacular impact for consumer products.Read more
