Antonio Lupi
Wave Washbasin
Price starting from € 18.350,00*
*Price valid for the version in white Carrara marble completed with waste-drain, siphon and flexible hose (cod. WAVE).
Elegant and organic, Wave represents the softest and most malleable form of matter. Specifically, it embodies the soul of marble which within the "bathroom" space suggests an expression of lightness and fluidity, referring to the water that dwells here. Nature and art become a source of constant inspiration for Antoniolupi company which joins forces with Massimiliano and Doriana Fuksas by modeling a sink and giving it the sinuosity of a scarf. The naturalness of Wave is evident above all in the terminal part of the two flaps which here overlap perfectly, generating a practical support system for wipes and towels.

antoniolupi was founded in 1950 by the intuition of the homonymous founder, in the Florentine village of Cerreto Guidi, a beautiful town immersed in the Toscana hills in the cradle of the Italian Renaissance. Strengthened by the local artistic tradition, the company focused on the exaltation of the Made in Italy quality through the craftsmanship of unique products. With the second generation at the helm of the company, the four sons of Antonio Lupi continued to preserve the tradition without losing the innovative spirit that characterized the brand. Under their guidance, the company confirmed its undisputed leadership in the production of high-end bathroom furnishings.Read more

Massimiliano e Doriana Fuksas
Massimiliano Fuksas (1944-) is one of the few great contemporary Italian archistars. Born and raised in Rome, the son of a Lithuanian doctor, Fuksas was a pupil of the famous architect Bruno Zevi and from a young age he had the opportunity to gain experience in large international firms, such as the London-based Archigram or the Danish studio of Jørn Utzon. Even if his first projects are realized in his hometown and are part of the avant-garde, Fuksas obtains a great notoriety all over the world only with some important public orders obtained abroad, especially in France, where since 1989 he has opened a studio with his wife Doriana Mandrelli (1955-). A pioneer in the use of digital technology in architecture, the new technological tools allow him to design and manage complex volumes, giving life to buildings with great sculptural values such as the La Nuvola congress center in the Roman EUR district, the Vienna Twin Tower complex or the new Milan Fair in Rho, home to the Salone del Mobile every year. His creations as a designer are always co-signed with Doriana, who personally manages the design department of the studio, and take shape from collaborations with well-known brands such as Baxter, Alessi, Poltrona Frau, Fiam Italia, Venini, Slamp or Nemo.Read more
