Introverso Washbasin

The Introverso free-standing washbasin is one of the most daring and surprising projects proposed by the inexhaustible creativity of an avant-garde brand like Antoniolupi. It is the result of the collaboration with Paolo Ulian, an eclectic artist and designer known for the "heretical" and unpredictable use of materials. Introverso is exactly the son of this philosophy: taking as a starting point a solid and durable material such as marble and that ancestral process of creative destruction that is the roughing of a sculpture, Paolo Ulian creates a first central shape that forms the core of the washbasin. and surrounds it with thin marble strips that hide it. The marble thus takes on an ethereal and impalpable character, vaguely allowing a second form to be glimpsed inside. The strips can also be broken at will, as proposed by the artist in special performances, to build new and irregular shapes that reveal the charm of a new game of shapes.
