Antonio Lupi
Epoque Bathtub
Epoque by Antoniolupi is a real bathtub-sculpture, which owes its charm in equal measure to shape and material. Epoque is in fact obtained from a block of Amazonian stone, which with its patches and veins just hinted at is a real spectacle for the eye, being also pleasant and welcoming to the touch. As for the shapes, the designer Carlo Colombo has decided to blur the tub into a thick pediment that follows the entire perimeter in its upper part, providing it with a sort of crown. Timeless elegance and harmony infuse Epoque with an almost ancestral, severe and majestic aura, which recalls the models of ancient statuary.
