Agape
Ottocento Bathtub
Built-in
The Ottocento bathtub by Agape is a charming and retro model that recalls the shapes of the ancient cast iron bathtubs supported by four feet. In the nineteenth century the model is updated in a certain minimalism that seeks clean lines and harmony of volumes, also dissolving in a touch of smiling quotationist irony. Bathtub and feet are made entirely of ultra-modern biobased white Cristalplant, a practical and ecological material. Ottocento is also available in a two-tone version with the exterior painted in light gray or dark gray. The Ottocento Small variant is presented in reduced proportions and is designed for small bathrooms. It is also available in the built-in Ottocento version, which allows it to integrate fully into the architecture, leaving only the gentle rounded edges of the edge and basin protrude. The result of this research is a collection of bathroom furniture and accessories with surprising shapes, which are able to satisfy the eye and create a peculiar and recognizable aesthetic without sacrificing functionality. To do this, the Benedini family, owner of the company, has managed to make use of the collaboration with several important names of international design, such as Patricia Urquiola, Angelo Mangiarotti and Konstantin Grcic.Read more
