A bench with an elegant and sophisticated taste that manages to combine different stylistic trends into a whole of great aesthetic power, suitable for any environment and taste. Born from a precious play of joints between shaped shelves, Cavalletto was born as a complement to the historic Cavalletto bookcase program designed in the 1950s. Simple and versatile, this element comes in three lengths depending on the modules used and can be used both as a seat and as a practical support surface to be used in different rooms of the house. Made of poplar plywood, it adapts very well to different uses, without ever being excessive.

Agape's corporate mission is to make the constant search for new forms and solutions of the design world dialogue with the traditionally unchanging environment of the bathroom. The result of this research is a collection of bathroom furniture and accessories with surprising shapes, which are able to satisfy the eye and create a peculiar and recognizable aesthetic without sacrificing functionality. To do this, the Benedini family, owner of the company, has managed to make use of the collaboration with several important names of international design, such as Patricia Urquiola, Angelo Mangiarotti and Konstantin Grcic.Read more

Angelo Mangiarotti
Angelo Mangiarotti (1921-2012) is one of the great protagonists of Italian design of the twentieth century. Born in Milan, he is one of the founding members of the Association for Industrial Design (ADI), from which he has been awarded a Compasso d'Oro for his career in 1994. He carries on in parallel throughout his life the activity of architect and designer and that of teacher, teaching in some of the most prestigious universities in the world. His career as an architect begins with a short but intense experience in the United States, where he get to know some of the world's leading architects such as Frank Lloyd Wright and Walter Gropius. Back in Italy, he works for a few years in collaboration with Bruno Morassutti, signing popular projects such as the Casa a Tre Cilindri in the San Siro district in Milan. In addition to housing, Mangiarotti specialized in infrastructure architecture: many of the most important city stations in Milan bear his signature, such as those of Rogoredo and Porta Venezia. His main field, however, remains that of design, where he stands out for his great attention to the use of materials and functionality. He is a great lover of sculpture and art who has a strong influence in his creations, made for brands such as Artemide, Vistosi, Danese Milano and Skipper. Re-editions of his products appear today in the catalogs of brands such as Poltrona Frau and Karakter, while his most emblematic creations are re-proposed by Agape for the Agapecasa line.Read more
