Christmas 2019 – the new window of Salvioni Milano Durini
Every year Salvioni Milano Durini celebrates the arrival of the Christmas holidays with a window dedicated to design.
For this year, Salvioni has chosen the bedroom, which has always been the place dedicated to rest, thought and recovery of all those energies that everyday life inevitably takes away from us. An implicit wish, therefore, that nevertheless does not abandon the unmistakable touch of design that from 2017 distinguishes the Via Durini showroom. From the rich bent shadows of Carlo Stanga beautifully reproduced on the Wallpepper® wallpaper, the You and Me bed by Ivano Redaelli emerges as an atoll of peace, slipping through the painted streets of Milan and offering the visitor a guarantee of new-found serenity.
Fabrics and textiles by Roberto Molteni have been assorted here, favoring the relaxing blue and ivory colors which, however, add peaks of red in line with the period of the year. The Nepal chair by Baxter and the Saarinen table by Knoll are the background, perfect complements of a painting resting on the cream colors of the GT design carpet and illuminated by the warm light of the Postkrisi 49 lamps by Catellani&Smith.
The game of geometries in which Ivano Redaelli’s You and Me are inscribed as well as the drawing by Carlo Stanga on Wallpepper® wallpaper is not accidental: just as the place of peace represented by the bed is enclosed in the depiction of the chaotic metropolis Milanese, in the same way the Salvioni Milano Durini showroom is inserted in the Milanese streets; a point of refreshment, of meeting and, above all, distraction from the daily chaos.
The showcase will remain set up until mid-January, offering visitors the chance to get the most out of their inspiration and eclectic Made in Italy taste.
