Kids | Design Games & Toy Design

Young and old, adults and children, everyone likes games. Each age has its own, of course, but the fact remains that the world of play attracts us and pushes us inexorably to search throughout our lives for objects capable of entertaining us, entertaining us or simply distracting us from everyday life by performing actions that are different from the usual. Playing, precisely.

But what happens when play meets design?

The answers are varied, but generally they have coincided with the creation of unique and strongly denoted objects that many companies in the sector have ventured not only to create, but also to distribute to an audience of adults and children but above all of enthusiasts who have been able to grasp the enormous creative spirit hidden in them.

Because creating objects for adults is inventiveness. Creating toys for children, an inspiration.

Whether for one’s own taste or that of others, games are also perfect gift ideas to share with close friends and relatives. A unique solution to make both children and adults happy.

Let’s start by dividing the world of children’s design into two main strands:

  • Design products for adults revisited in a youthful key
  • Design games specifically designed for the little ones

Over the years, many companies have ventured into redesigning their best-selling pieces in order to create new ones that are “child-friendly”. Design games for the little ones

Some companies and just as many designers have tried to explore the world of children’s toys from a perspective that is not only playful, but also aesthetic. Design and planning come together in these unique objects, designed to please both the little ones and the older ones, intent on giving something unique and out of the ordinary. The beauty of these objects, undeniable from every point of view, pushes us to ask ourselves if it is possible to educate our children and grandchildren to beauty, giving them the opportunity to experiment from an early age with a more conscious and conservative model of play, sheltered from passing fads and the continuous “disposability” that characterizes more industrial products.
