Steve Leung

Steve Leung (1957-) is one of the most important architects in contemporary Hong Kong. His SLD (Steve Leung Design) studio, founded in 1997, also has several offices in mainland China, in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzen, making it one of the largest in all of Asia: its shares are even listed. on the main listing of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. It was positioned for three consecutive years (from 2016 to 2018) in first place in terms of turnover in the field of residential architecture by the renowned US magazine Interior Design Magazine. Despite the titanism of his studio, Steve Leung advocates elegant and sophisticated luxury, far from any brazenness. He has held several important positions at international level, including the presidency of the IFI (Interior Architects / Designers). Although the center of his activity remains architecture and interiors, he has also tried his hand at designing furniture for mass production, collaborating with brands such as Visionnaire, Flou, Lualdi and Riva 1920.
