Jakob Wagner

Jakob Wagner (1963-) is a famous contemporary Danish designer. His creations combine a taste for fluid and organic forms with a great sense of proportion and balance, which thus gives life to practical and functional but aesthetically appealing products. He studied in Denmark, the United States, France, Italy and Switzerland before founding his own studio in Copenhagen in 1993, initially dedicating himself to the sports and medical fields with products with high technological added value. In the following years he gradually shifted his interest towards the home and furnishings, coming to work with major brands in the sector such as B&B Italia, Cappellini, Louis Poulsen, Alessi, Menu, Stelton and many others. Among the numerous awards, his products have won six IF Deisgn Award wins and three of the Red Dot Awards.
