Francesca Simen
Francesca Simen (1963-) graduated in architecture at the Milan Polytechnic in 1989. From 1990 to 2003 she worked in Antonio Citterio's studio following various interior architecture projects, also holding the position of head of the studio's interior design department since 1999. Since 2003, she set up her own business, founding the ANG42 studio with Stefano Gallizioli, primarily dedicated to the private residential sector but also active in the hospitality and office fields. In 2006 the studio began its international expansion by opening a second office in Dublin, the city where she designed the headquarters of an important multinational in the food sector. Other important projects concern the interiors of the exclusive Tatoi Club in Athens and some villas on the Caribbean island of Mustique. Francesca Simen has designed several collections of carpets for B&B Italia.
