Ferro Table

The Ferro table by Porro has a minimalist but at the same time strongly characterizing spatial presence, as often happens in the happiest creations of Piero Lissoni. His great distinctive element are the strongly rounded quarter-sphere corners which give it a touch of sinuous elegance.
Ferro was born in 1994 during an air journey back from Japan when Lissoni, bored, looks outside the windows and he struck by the connection between motor and wing, marked by rounded shapes that provide him immediately the inspiration for a first sketch of the table, already marked by the convex edges and by the legs that narrow slightly descending towards the ground.
The table is made of folded and welded plate, then lacquered in white, black, pink or grey colors or treated with a bronze or stainless steel effect. It is available in four different sizes, two rectangular and two square. The Ferro series also includes large Coffee Tables, ideal for being positioned in the center of the living room. Both versions, both the table and the coffee table, are also available in an outdoor version for use in outdoor environments.
