Louis Ghost chair
Philippe Starck,
Louis Ghost chair
Known and widely reproduced throughout the world for its cutting-edge design and precursor of the times, Louis Ghost chair was the first lucky attempt to introduce transparent polyurethane into the world of design. Where other companies still used metal and wood, Kartell introduced a completely different world and technology, giving free light and transparent consistency to minimalist and functional structures.
Eldest of this revolution, Louis Ghost is characterized by the comfortable polycarbonate seat, transparent and color inspired by Luigi XV’s design: the Baroque ideotype revisited to amaze, excite, fascinate. Despite its evanescent and crystalline appearance, the seat does not lack in resistance and offers a strong opposition to impact and weather.
