The new Fiam Italia window by Marcel Wanders studio for Salvioni Milano Durini
On Friday 17 December the Salvioni Milano Durini showroom was the protagonist of the launch in Italy of the new Echo collection by Fiam Italia, created in collaboration with Marcel Wanders studio.
The event opened with a live stream where the guests Gabriele Chiave, Creative Director of the Marcel Wanders studio, Daniele Livi, CEO of Fiam Italia and Massimiliano Vago, Store Manager of Salvioni Milano Durini, presented the Echo project and the path that led to the formulation of the new and exclusive products that compose it.
A site-specific installation placed in the suggestive window of the concept store in via Durini in Milan was the backdrop to this global event, dominating the scene with its dark tones where the soft and decorated surfaces of the Echo furniture stand out combined with the Hana armchair by Moooi also placed in neutral tones. Masterful touch of color, the carpet with floral motif placed in the center of the space perfectly softens the rigorous forms scheme.
The signature of Marcel Wanders studio blends the strengths of light and fluid reflections of color in this space, drawing inspiration from the idea of animating and giving its own life to glass. The lighting in the display case comes alive in turn to give even more prominence to the magical aspect of each object, capturing the charm not only of the Christmas holidays but also of the common imagination.
The installation will be open until the end of February to allow visitors and onlookers to admire the suggestions of the window and the new Echo collection by Marcel Wanders studio. The Salvioni team will be available to best illustrate the qualities of each product, explaining its creative value and numerous stylistic peculiarities.
