Royal Botania was founded in 1992 by Kris Van Puyvelde and Frank Boschman, both engineers, who first understood the potential of outdoor teak furniture made no longer in colonial style, as was used at the time, but following a modern taste that converses with the latest design trends. This is how several collections of tables, chairs, sofas, deckchairs, sunbeds and umbrellas were created, designed directly by the two owners.

Van Puyvelde’s signature bears the comfortable and ergonomic chairs and beds of the Ninix collection, the elegant Zenhit sofas or the innovative Alura armchairs. The Royal Botania catalog also contains a large section dedicated to the lights, with decorative lamps like the Dome collection, together with an architectural lighting for exteriors also complete with wall lamps.
