Normann Copenhagen was founded in 1999 by a duo of brave entrepreneurs, Jan Andersen and Poul Madsen. Their vision was based on a strong ethical assumption that good design contributes to improving the quality of life at every level, both for individuals and for society as a whole. A fundamental characteristic of Normann Copenhagen furniture is the extreme purity of its shapes, which can be easily seen, for example, in the Simon Legald Form Chair.
The lamps of the Normann Compenhagne Light compartment are also designed on simple lines, such as the Bell Lamp suspension by Andreas Lund & Jacob Rudbeck or the Amp model by Simon Legald. The brand has its own real core business in the rich selection of objects and accessories: from the world of tableware, with glasses, cutlery, trays and bowls, to the textile sector with cushions, blankets and tablecloths, passing for chandeliers, mirrors, clocks and much more.
