Living Divani was born towards the end of the 60s at Anzano del Parco thanks to Luigi Bestetti and Renata Pozzoli. In the first years the company created colllections of sofas for the chain Roche Bobois that were appreciated, but the turning point comes from the meeting with the young Piero Lissoni, who will help to shape the image of the brand and promote its success on international markets. The company’s communication also has his signature, with the famous catalogues which portray Living sofas in long field shots in airy athmosferes close to the metaphysical world.
Lissoni finds the perfect environment to express his minimalistic poetic at Living Divani and it is here that he realizes some of his masterpieces, such as the copied by many Extrasoft modular sofa, ideal also to be used in the center of the room, the comfortable Rod sofa and the harmoniuous Neowall sofa. However, one of the most famous icons of the brand belongs to the outdoor collection: it is the Flag easy chair, perfect in its essential lightness.
When Carola Bestetti, Luigi and Renata’s daughter, became part of the company it bought to an opening to new designers, who measured their creativity with the recognisable style of the brand. Products like the Avalon Bed by Claesson Koivisto Rune, the Agra outdoor sofa by David Lopez Quincoces, the Buvka bookshelf byVictor Vailev, the collection of rugs designed by Harry Paul and much more furniture for all the different spaces of the house were thus born.
