The history of Desalto is strongly rooted in the Brianza craft tradition. It is in this background that originates the activity of the Orsenigo family, which in the 90s founded Desalto starting from a family business specializing in metal processing. The chosen line is that of an uncompromising architectural purism, forged step by step by collaborations with important designers.
This is how products such as table 25, designed by Bruno Fattorini and Robin Rizzini’s Studio Metrica and awarded in 2014 with the Compasso d’Oro, the Clay table by Marc Krusin with its sculptural shapes or the iconic Element table by Tokujin Yoshioka . Among the sessions, the Sand family of chairs by Claudio Dondoli and Marco Pocci proved to be great bestsellers.
Desalto’s production also extends to the bookshelves and tv systems sector with products such as the Sail TV port by Flavio Caronni and Donato Bonanomi with its essential lightness. Coffee tables, consoles and furnishing accessories complete the Desalto range for the home, but they do not exhaust its production: the versatility of the lines and the ability to create tailor-made furniture make Desalto a perfect company for collaboration with large contract projects.
