De Sede was founded in 1962 in Kingnau, Switzerland, as a small company specializing in leather upholstery and processing according to artisanal methods to create products of excellence in the field of furniture. Over time, the quality of De Sede allowed it to expand, transforming that small business into a real furniture company with its own products, which soon became true icons of the sector. De Sede has specialized in the production of home furnishings, spanning the various environments in order to ensure widespread comfort and quality. Among the numerous proposals we have sofas, armchairs, chairs, tables, beds and mattresses. It is also possible to purchase some accessories such as bags in different materials. De Sede products are available in the Salvioni multi-brand showrooms in Milan, Como and Lugano.

The fortune of De Sede soon led it to expand internationally, exporting its products all over the world and enriching itself with the contribution of high-level designers, ready to collaborate to create unique products destined to stand out.

The company’s spearheads are the DS-P sofa, born in 1971 and since then becoming famous for its honeycomb stitching and puma goose padding. No less interesting is the DS-150, a bench created by Santiago Calatrava in 1986 and immediately famous for its incredibly modern design.

Over time, however, many models have alternated, such as the sofas DS-600, the DS-165, the armchairs DS-800, DS-5010, DS-707 and the numerous tables among which it is impossible not to mention the DS5010 and DS-5020. Each model created carries an element of strong modernity and purity of forms, with precise but never too sharp angles capable of creating a softness that is not only visual, but also conceptual.
