Baxter at IMM 2017- Neutral colors for modular sofa and dining tables
This year Baxter chooses to focus on material experimentation and to invest in delicate and more neutral colors for products already presented at Salone del Mobile 2016, in order to make the whole collection’s mood more homogeneous and to sharpen the strongly contrasting color who had characterised the 2016 collections.
At Imm 2017 find place the new Viktor modular sofa made by Draga & Aurel Viktor – coated with Kashmir Fumè leather, which blends perfectly with the visible brass structure that holds the seat – and the Miami Roll by Paola Navone, featuring a wide range of pillows and cushions pads available in lighter skins as well as the traditional moss green and gray.
The Lagos table is enriched with the new Geode marble floor, along with the well-known Calacatta gold polished and Elegant Brown.
The characteristic irregular and elliptical plane is supported by cylindrical elements of different sizes asymmetrically arranged to give emphasis to the apparent “morphological casualty” of the project. The elements are also lined with brass or antique iron to create an important material gap between the floor marble and the supporting metal elements.
