During the last Milan Design Week Acerbis, historical brand of Made in Italy design, celebrated its fiftieth participation to the event. They demonstrated once again that it is still possible to be at the forefront of innovative solutions and design research but, at the same time, not betraying the identity of the brand.
Within an iconic space curated by the architect Massimo Castagna, they introduced the new 2016 collection and its new products such as the N.C. Landscape a wall unit enriched by other elements. And the Hyper leather sofa, always signed by Castagna, a bridge structure supported by its weight-bearing arms and characterised by pronounced volumes and a marked contrast between the wide seat and low back.
In addition there is also a new edition of the sinuous Airy chair, made of aluminum monocoque, supported by an ash wood base. The combination of different materials emphasizes the contrast and provides a unique example of great visual and tactile effect.
