The American furniture company Knoll is one of the most longeval businesses in history of design. Its unique heritage presents partnerships with several archistars and groundbreaking designers such as Eero Saarinen, Harry Bertoia and Mies Van Der Rohe.
This 2016 Knoll introduces, once again, excellent products, from the initial project to the research in the field of materials and technological solutions. It is the case of the new Avio modular sofa by Piero Lissoni; this seating system is composed of an extremely light metal structure that can support wider seats for a comfortable lounge experience.
Another interesting proposal is the new seating collection born by the inspiration of the designer Marc Krusin. It shows three models: a chair with or without armrests and a small armchair with a wrapping comfortable backrest.
But 2016 is also the year of a prestigious new edition of the historical Bertoia chair to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of designer Harry Bertoia. The product has been re designed in a completely new version; it presents a bronze finish with a brown and black saddle leather cover.
