Kettal, historic Catalan maison, celebrates 50 years of activity in the International interior design business accompanied by the unmistakable style that has always characterized it.
The whole of its collections and products are oriented towards refinement of materials and research on advanced technologies, in the mindset of the production of objects with a strong personality and unique innovative load.
The brand presented two unedited projects at the last Salone del Mobile: the Cala armchair designed by Doshi Levien and the wooden seating system Riva by Jasper Morrison. Despite the impressive dimensions and its tall and wrapping backrest, the armchair is extremely light, thanks also to the weaving of the fiber coating around the metal structure. The result is a versatile element that opens the interaction with the surroundings.
The Riva seating system is composed of a sofa and armchairs that express pure love for wood; the material is never used in an intrusive way, but respecting the softness of the design line. The juxtaposition of different wooden elements creates objects with delicate sober shapes.
